5 years of SAR Netherlands

EXPERTISE, INNOVATION and EXCHANGE at the highest level

On June 12, 2025, we celebrated the 5th anniversary of our sales office in Breda – and with great success!

Around 20 guests from 11 different plants in the “energy from waste” sector (including nine from the Netherlands and two from Belgium) took part in the anniversary event. Together with our partner Energie Link, two interesting presentations were organized on the topic of “Waste recycling and energy generation”. Afterwards, the participants were able to exchange ideas at a get-together.

The good response is a strong sign of the relevance and networking of our location.

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS as a HIGHLIGHT

Two high-calibre specialist presentations were particularly noteworthy and met with great interest:

AI-based impurity detection with quasi online prediction of fuel calorific value: A report from a realized project at a waste-to-energy plant showed how artificial intelligence can support firing rate control.
Reinforcement of grate systems: Our partner EnergieLink provided exclusive insights into the latest developments for reinforcing grate systems against explosions.

A DAY full of KNOWLEDGE & EXCHANGE

The weather was perfect for a barbecue in the outdoor area in front of the sales office. This provided the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and with the organization team in a relaxed atmosphere.
The consistently positive feedback from the participants shows: The Breda sales office has established itself as a strong partner and innovative source of inspiration.

THE BREDA SITE

For 5 years, our specialist team in Breda has built up impressive expertise in the field of thermal recycling plants. The site stands for customized and innovative solutions that both increase energy efficiency and sustainably reduce emissions.

A particular milestone in our development is the patented SAR fire performance control (FLR), which ensures optimum combustion results. It has recently been supplemented by an intelligent AI add-on – a further step towards automated, resource-saving process control.
