SAR at the Innovation Challenge & the Innovation Fair
On May 9, 2025, Dingolfing was all about innovation – and SAR was right in the middle of it.
The Innovation Challenge and the Innovation Fair 2025 took place at the same time in the Dingolfing Industrial Museum. Two events, one common goal: shaping the future.

Innovation Challenge
24 hours, one app and a strong team!
SAR was once again part of this year’s Innovation Challenge – with an exciting use case for increasing efficiency in the EA check of PLC-controlled systems. Five dedicated students took on the challenge of developing an app within just 24 hours to support technicians during the commissioning of new machines. The aim: to significantly reduce the effort, time and costs involved in the EA check.
The results were presented on Friday evening at the Dingolfing Industrial Museum – with success: the SAR students developed a functional app and successfully tested and validated it. The project goal was thus fully achieved. In the overall ranking, the SAR team landed in a solid midfield position. The exciting day was rounded off with the award ceremony and an atmospheric closing party.
Innovation Exhibition Dingolfing
Parallel to the Challenge, SAR presented itself at the innovation fair in the Dingolfing Museum – under the motto “Experience innovations, shape the future!”. The fair offered exciting insights into the latest technologies and regional innovative strength.
SAR not only presented technical highlights, but also provided information about training and internship opportunities at the company. Numerous interested students from Dingolfing and Landau an der Isar took the opportunity to talk to our team in person.
The stand was well attended and the exchange with young talents and other companies in the region was extremely positive – a strong network and a motivating day for everyone involved.
