We are seeking a talented Controls Programmer to join our team. As a Controls Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and optimization of automation and control systems for our diverse range of projects. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to create customized solutions that meet our clients specific needs and exceed their expectations.

Your tasks

  • Design, develop, and implement control system software for industrial automation projects
  • Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other control devices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define system requirements and specifications
  • Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Provide technical support and assistance during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Your profile

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in programming and configuring PLCs, preferable Siemens SIMATIC
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in industrial automation, such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram
  • Familiarity with HMI or SCADA software, such as WinCC, Zenon or InTouch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
