We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our growing team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. From troubleshooting complex electrical issues to ensuring compliance with safety regulations, you will play a vital role in keeping our clients facilities running smoothly.

Your tasks

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems in industrial environments, including motors, generators, transformers, and control panels
  • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams to plan and execute installations and repairs accurately
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential electrical problems before they escalate
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools and techniques to determine root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to coordinate work activities and achieve project goals
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and equipment documentation

Your profile

  • HNC/HND or similar degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and codes, including British and nad European standards
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including PLCs (e.g. SIMATIC S7) and industrial automation equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team
