SAR Environmental Technology at IFAT Munich

After the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies, IFAT Munich, had to take a break in 2020, it fortunately took place again this year. 2,984 exhibitors and around 119,000 trade visitors confirmed IFAT as the most important platform for environmental technologies and as a meeting place for the industry.

Face-to-face exchange without video conferencing at last

For the Process and Environmental Technology Department, an appearance at IFAT is one of the most important dates of all. This year the focus was deliberately on personal exchange with customers and partners, which had been neglected in the past two years due to a high number of video conferences.

Simulation of power generation plants

The proven stand design vividly supported the main topics of virtualisation, migration, process control technology, research and development as well as fire power control. In addition, new and further developments were presented.

The simulation of power generation plants by means of a digital twin was of particular interest and was clearly presented to a number of interested parties.

IRMA system partnership signed with VIDEC

An IRMA system partnership was signed with the company Videc. IRMA detects anomalies in production plants and thus wants to protect against cyber attacks, among other things.

IFAT - despite all the scepticism in the run-up, a complete success

The large number of visitors and interested parties at our stand, combined with the friendly, interesting and often amusing conversations in a pleasant atmosphere, make our participation at IFAT 2022 a complete success.

Despite considerable challenges regarding worldwide supply and capacity difficulties, staff shortages and other negative developments, the personal encounters and conversations allow us to look to the future with great confidence.
