Summertime is trade fair time - SAR Group presents itself as an automation provider and employer

This year, May to July saw the concentration of all events, which, due to Covid, were to be implemented in as low a contagion period as possible. SAR was, in addition to the already communicated IFAT and VivaTech, on the road at other events. On the one hand to inspire our customer network with new technologies, but also to generate new customers and to deliver a good external appearance for additional specialists.

Automatica in Munich

At the Automatica in Munich, our customers and interested parties finally had the opportunity to meet us in person, exchange news and approach us with new project inquiries. Together with ima-tec and KNEXT, however, we also delivered a convincing presentation for potential new employees.

Of course, the barista cell from KNEXT was a visual and culinary highlight - and a hook for many technical discussions, around the entire SAR Group. However, the feeder and sorter cell, for separating components and ideal for upstream assembly processes, also met with lively interest among visitors. Here, the added value of ima-tec's standard technologies clearly came to the fore. Interestingly, the AR application was not only very well received by the younger visitors, but was also an ideal example of how SAR is able to support and train our customers worldwide.

The fact that the SAR sales teams from Gunzenhausen, Dingolfing and Kürnach have already realized many joint projects in recent years was evident to visitors from the fact that everyone knew about all the applications and could also explain them in detail.

Franconia plastics network

After Automatica, SAR Plastics Systems continued directly to the Franconian Plastics Network (Kunststoff-Netzwerk Franken). Here SAR is involved in various working groups in order to win new customers from the region, to keep up with the latest developments and, of course, to increase awareness of SAR in Franconia.

Together with end customers, competitors and technology forges, experiences are exchanged, further training is initiated or joint projects in the plastics industry arise from this again and again. Everyone involved benefits from active networking.

Haitian Open House

Haitian, the world's leading Chinese injection molding supplier, once again invited SAR Plastics Systems to position itself as an automation provider for complex plastics processes at the "Open House" days.

As a neutral expert for all manufacturers of plastics machinery, it is extremely important for SAR to be present there. The trend of our customers is more and more towards a two or three supplier strategy and so the Asian manufacturers, besides the local suppliers (Engel, Krauss-Maffei, Arburg etc.) score more and more from the increasing cost pressure, but also from globalization.

Plastivation Grand Opening

With Plastivation, a hybrid startup of Chinese injection molding machine manufacturer and Munich-based development center for German SGMs, we were subsequently on their Grand Opening days. While Haitian mainly serves OEM suppliers worldwide, Plastivation starts specifically with machines for German SMEs.

Here, too, we see a trend to bring back production capacities from the Far East to Europe and want to offer our automation solutions together with the SAR Group.

coming soon: Motek in Stuttgart and "K" in Düsseldorf

With the Motek in Stuttgart, which is primarily organized by ima-tec, and the major trade fair "K" in Düsseldorf, the SAR Group has two more major trade fairs coming up in 2022, where we can win new projects, new customers and hopefully many enthusiastic new employees for us.

Thank you to all the trade show teams who, despite the Covid challenges at the shows, were extremely dedicated and ensured the trade show successes for the entire SAR Group.
